Flamborough Site Information

St Marys plans to extract Amabel Dolostone from the site. Dolostone is a high quality stone used in construction, road-building and manufacturing. It is a basic building block of the construction industry in Ontario which is used in:

• structural concrete for schools, hospitals, housing, office buildings, and airport runways
• the granular base in asphalt mixes and structural concrete for sidewalks, bridges, roads and streets

Amabel Dolostone is the most durable aggregate material in Southern Ontario.
